A Customized Soundtrack for Your Special Day

From the moment your guests arrive for the ceremony or grab their first drink during cocktail hour, I’ll be performing tunes that elevate your special day.

Booking Policy

To book me for your wedding, please fill out the contact form and I’ll additionally need to know:

  • Your name, and your partner’s name

  • Your venue

  • Your chosen package

  • Anticipated start-time, e.g. your official ceremony and/or cocktail hour times

Upon receiving those details, I will contact you to schedule a phone call and e-mail you a contract to complete your booking! Please note that your date is only secured upon signing the contract.

All other logistic details and song selections will be finalized with you (and your wedding coordinator) up to 2 months before your wedding.

Payment Instructions

  • 25% of the total performance fee is due 2 months before your wedding date.

  • The remaining balance is due 1 month before your wedding date.

  • The compensation and signed contract must be secured prior to any musical services being performed.

  • Payment shall be made via Zelle, cash, or check.

Wedding FAQ’s

These are some of the most frequently asked questions by prospective brides and grooms. If you have any other questions for me, please feel free to get in touch!

  • If your venue doesn’t have its own piano, I will provide a full live setup including my very own white/champagne-colored Casio Privia portable electric piano and/or QSC K10.2 speaker for +$200. Convenient benefits include portability, no tuning required, and ability to set volume! Please note your venue will need to have parking available on-site if I am providing my own piano.

  • I usually arrive 1 hour before the start of the performance to get settled and conduct a proper sound-check.

  • At least 2 meters x 2 meters for the piano, my bench, and speaker.

    I’m happy to identify the best location of the piano with your wedding planner, based on space, access, availability of power, etc.

  • Absolutely, I love playing outdoors if the weather allows! I simply request a back-up plan in the event of rain (e.g. moving indoors or positioning the piano under a covered area). On hot days, it’s also preferable to be under some shade so that the electronics (and pianist!) don’t overheat.

    My piano requires access to a power supply, so an outdoor socket or a nearby building with an electrical outlet would be required. Also, some venues have licensing restrictions on amplified music outdoors, so please obtain permission from your venue.

  • Transferring my piano between areas (e.g. from ceremony venue to cocktail reception) should only take a few minutes. I may just kindly ask a willing volunteer from the venue or bridal party to assist with the move to save time.

  • Absolutely! I have a current repertoire of 100+ songs, but I also accommodate for the ceremony processional/recessional and other custom requests (3 for prelude, 5 for cocktail hour) that are not already on my list.

  • Song selections must be finalized 2 months before your wedding date.

  • For Prelude, you may select 10 songs under my Wedding Repertoire List (3 custom song requests allowed). If no selections are made, I will perform songs that suit the venue’s atmosphere.

    For Ceremony, I’ll ask you to specify which songs you’d like for your aisle walk/processional (usually 1-2 songs) and your aisle exit/recessional (1 song).

    For Cocktail Hour, you may select 10 songs under my Wedding Repertoire List (3 custom song requests allowed). If no selections are made, I will perform songs that suit the venue’s atmosphere.

  • I charge no extra cost for venues under 1-hour from Irvine, CA.

    If my drive exceeds 1-hour one way, I charge $100/hour to cover my travel time/fees. e.g. I would charge a total of $100 if your wedding is in Temecula (1 hour drive from Irvine).

  • I’m always grateful if you are able to include me on your list of vendor meals/refreshments. Completely optional though! :)

  • My style is not generally business-formal, but I’ll always dress smart (i.e. a coat, blazer, or jacket).

    However, if you do have a preference, e.g. a specific-colored tie, I can accommodate this – please let me know at the time of booking.
